DIN WEBINARS on solutions aimed at reducing the impact of heat on animals
Owing to the inability to organise events and training sessions at its premises, DIN has been using online platforms to build relationships with Portuguese and international partners, having organised a Heat Stress webinar (Poultry, Swine and Ruminants).
Dozens of people participated in this first webinar, mostly DIN clients. Webinar participants included zootechnical engineers, animal production engineers, sales representatives, veterinaries and livestock farmers, who gained knowledge of the products offered by DIN to help maintain animal performance during the hot season.
The webinar focused on three specific species, namely Poultry, Ruminants and Swine, as DIN has developed specific product ranges (Thermo®) to manage heat stress in these animals. “Heat stress affects the entire production process. Its consequences can be mitigated through a series of synergistic measures aimed at increasing zootechnical outcomes,” explained DIN, a company that has been operating in the animal nutrition sector for over 30 years.
Speakers in this first webinar included Nuno Guedes and José Silvestre, from DIN, as well as William Dick and Luciano Stingelin, from Brazil. Albeit virtual, this event brought us closer to our clients, who benefited from yet another opportunity to gain and share knowledge, a distinctive approach adopted by DIN. At this time, where social distancing has been imposed as a result of the covid-19 pandemic, these events foster proximity to our many Portuguese and foreign clients.
