GPA and Delta^® Acidoline^® are an additive and a feed, respectively, used in ruminal acidosis and transition periods, in order to optimise nutritional value.

Delta^® Acidoline^® is part of the PMA (Practical Management of Acidosis) process, an approach developed by the CCPA-DELTAVIT GROUP in 2005 that received the Innov ‘Space award in 2010. This product contains carboxylic acids that stimulate lactic acid bacteria, i.e. bacteria able to withstand increased acidity. Microflora stimulants promote the growth of cellulolytic microorganisms. Finally, yeast metabolites promote the growth of the rumen microflora as a whole.                                                                                                                                               
Delta^® Acidoline^® allows for a fast, effective intervention in case of clinical ruminal acidosis and acute metabolic acidosis. This product can be used prophylactically to reduce the risk of subclinical ruminal acidosis when animals are fed an acidogenic diet.
