Ensuring an adequate management of animal health and digestive balance is key to optimising production, both in monogastric species and ruminants. The study of the existing synergies between animal nutrition and the intestinal or ruminal microbiota is one of the fields of research of the CCPA GROUP. In order to support poultry, swine and ruminant production, DIN, SA, in partnership with the CCPA GROUP, offers specific feeds, based on the extensive know-how of the group and its team of specialists in plant-based products.
The efficacy of these innovative products, whose formulations include active ingredients of natural origin, has been demonstrated in several animal production contexts and feeding regimes across the globe.

Digestive health: a matter of balance
The intestinal microbiota plays an essential role in digestive system function and animal health in general. Microbial imbalances may cause diarrhoea, mortality and low performance, in addition to entailing burdensome healthcare requirements and an increased use of antimicrobial agents. Good digestive health depends on the balance between mucosal integrity, microbiota and feeds. Controlling the specific ruminal microbiota of bovine, ovine and caprine species is also essential to good animal health and feed efficiency.
The VivActiv’® range of natural additives is characterised by its triple action: protein protection, improvement of the rumen microflora and stimulation of intestinal enzyme secretion. These additives improve the productive performance of dairy cows, fattening cattle, calves, goats and sheep, thus allowing significant savings. All formulations contain plant extracts, essential oils, metal salts and sugars, representing a natural alternative to conventional protein protection techniques.
