Molecular biology

Food products can be adulterated by several means, of which the most common relate to the species and geographic origin, as well as the mislabelling of non-organic plant products as organic. The Laboratory offers a wide range of molecular biology assays, namely authenticity, detection of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and pathogenic microorganisms.
